Taking Chances - Short Film

I can’t even begin to describe all the hard work we’ve put into this short film. I was very nervous at first since I’ve never done anything like it before, besides the occasional dance videos. It took a lot to plan, write out the script, shot sheet, scout locations, and so on and so forth. It took about two days to film and almost a week to edit.

I really can’t get over how everything somehow came together. The on-screen chemistry, the transitions, the composition, the shots, and especially the music. Although there were some mistakes, continuity, and other technical stuff, I’m proud of this short film.

I’m so thankful that Jared wanted to work on a project together and I can’t thank Tina enough for being a part of this project. They made the story. They made me believe.

I’d also like to thank Vincent Fronteras for composing the music during the voice-overs even though it was hard since you’re at home while we’re here in Blacksburg.

Everything about this short film was a collaborative effort. I really appreciated everybody’s input and support.

Just as the title says, this short film is about taking chances. I took a chance making this film. I took a chance investing my time and effort into creating something that everybody can relate to even if I’m not getting paid for this. I had a blast filming and working with Jared and Tina.

I truly hope you guys enjoy because this is what I want to do.

Nightmare Fuel: LeBron James is the monster under Kyle Korver’s bed. 

We all know that Korver is a terrible defender — Exhibit A & B — but expecting Kyle to stop LeBron while the King is flying down the court with a full head of steam is a bit ambitious. I’m not sure if the US Military could stop LeBron on a fastbreak.
